St. Arnold Janssen, the founder father of the Holy Spirit sisters was born on November 5, 1837 the second of ten children in the family. His  family lived in Germany. Arnold Grew up and was sent to school by his parents, but ever since he was young he had felt the bond with God. So, St. Arnold became a priest rather early on in his life at the age of twenty four. Arnold taught young children at local school while still being a priest, for he had excelled in mathematics. There he was known for being a strict but just teacher. The children loved his teaching and imbibed the tips to excel in education. He not only taught the children mathematics and language but moral values. His life was filled with a constant Search for God’s will, great confidence in the divine providence and hard work. His work has been blessed is evident in the subsequent growth of the communities he founded: more than 6,000 Divine Word Missionaries are active in 63 countries, more than 3,800 Holy spirit Servants of the Holy Spirit are spread all over the World serving through education, Health care, empowerment of women and people in the less fortunate situations. His life came to an end on January 15, 1909 at the age of 72. St. Arnold Janssen was declared a Saint by the Catholic Church on January 15, 2003. He had accomplished what God had commissioned him to do. we carry out the vision of St. Arnold, to give the world God’s Love through all our activities.
